    Cancellation and Refund Policy

    This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and purchases made on OneTradeJournal, operated by OneTradeJournal. This policy is published in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

    1. All Sales Are Final: No Refunds

    All subscription purchases on OneTradeJournal are final and non-refundable.

    By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the Service, failure to use the Service, or early cancellation. This applies to all plans:

    2. AI Usage

    AI features are included with paid plans as a monthly usage allowance. They are not sold separately and have no standalone cash or refund value.

    3. Subscription Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

    • Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period (3 months or 1 year).
    • No partial or prorated refunds will be provided for unused time within a billing period.
    • When your paid plan ends, your account reverts to the free tier. Your trade data and journaling remain fully accessible, and only paid features (AI features and voice input) are locked until you resubscribe.
    • You can export your trading data at any time from your account settings. Data is deleted only if you delete your account (subject to legal retention requirements).

    4. Auto-Renewal

    Quarterly and Annual subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

    • You will be charged automatically via your registered payment method on the renewal date.
    • A renewal reminder email will be sent 3 days before the renewal date.
    • To disable auto-renewal, go to Account Settings > Subscription > Cancel Auto-Renewal.
    • Cancelling auto-renewal does not terminate your current subscription: access continues until the end of the paid period.

    5. Exceptions: Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

    While all sales are final, we will correct the following billing errors:

    • Duplicate charges: If you were charged twice for the same subscription or purchase due to a payment processing error.
    • Wrong amount: If the amount charged differs from the price displayed at the time of purchase.
    • Unauthorized charge: If a charge was made without your authorization (subject to verification).

    To report a billing error, reach us through our Contact page within 7 days of the charge with your transaction details. Verified billing errors will be corrected within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.

    6. Escalation

    If you have a complaint regarding billing or this refund policy, you may escalate it through the following channels:

    1. Contact: If your concern is unresolved, contact us through our Contact page. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and endeavor to resolve it within 15 days.
    2. Consumer Forum: If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or through the National Consumer Helpline at consumerhelpline.gov.in (Toll-free: 1800-11-4000).
