Empanelled algo providers: NSE and BSE names, status and dates
The NSE and BSE empanelled algo-provider lists record exchange status for named legal entities. They are not a list of software endorsed for returns by SEBI. This page mirrors the retrieved exchange entries, separates provisional from final status and flags a mismatch between NSE's spreadsheet and a later notice. Checked on 14 October 2026; scheduled for monthly review.

Read the exchange name and status together
Find the legal entity (the registered company name) in the relevant exchange table. Provisional status means approval subject to conditions; a final-status notice records that the exchange says the relevant conditions were fulfilled. The same company can have different statuses on NSE and BSE, and the list's circular-date column may point to an earlier provisional notice even after a status changes. A vendor code is also different from a strategy's approval or trading identifier.
The tables below preserve the listed names, including differences in capitalisation and prefixes. Line breaks are reduced to spaces. Addresses and personal contact details are omitted because they are unnecessary for checking the entity and status. Use your browser's Find command to locate a name, or download the dated CSV and filter it in a spreadsheet. There is no quality ranking or paid placement.
Read the Multiicon notice note below the NSE table: its spreadsheet status and later final-empanelment circular do not agree. Treat the table as a dated source snapshot rather than silently replacing an exchange field.

Names, codes and status: bse-list. Dated final notice for AlgoBulls, Quantiply, Quick Algoplus, Simply Algo, Stratzy, Neutrino, Multiicon and Options Scalping: bse-final. BSE's table has 8 Final and 7 Provisional entries. Its accessibility caption still says provisional, while the actual status column contains both; row statuses are preserved.
Why this is not a SEBI-registered software ranking
SEBI's circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD/P/CIR/2025/0000013, dated 4 February 2025, separates the roles. Paragraph III(a) begins “While algo providers shall not be regulated by SEBI” and requires exchange empanelment for the described facility for placing orders through an API (a software connection). That wording concerns the provider role under this framework; it does not establish that an entity's other activities are outside SEBI regulation.
White-box algos disclose logic that users can reproduce. For black-box algos, whose logic is not known to the user and is not replicable, paragraph V(a)(ii) separately says the provider shall “Register as a Research Analyst”, maintain the specified research report and make the required confirmation to exchanges. A row in an exchange provider table therefore does not, by itself, prove every separate registration or approval required for a service.
Paragraph I(d) directs brokers to “deal with empaneled algo providers only” and handle related complaints. Broker checks and the specific service still matter. This is a plain-English source summary, not legal advice or a clearance for a particular setup.
What an entry establishes, and what remains to check
The exchange and entity are part of the fact
Keep NSE and BSE separate. Do not substitute a familiar app name for the listed legal entity without evidence linking them. A similarly named company is not enough.
Final and provisional are the exchange's status labels
Preserve the exact label and relevant notice. Neither label supplies a performance score, a return guarantee or a statement that a tool suits your strategy.
The broker connection needs its own confirmation
The provider list does not show that your broker currently supports a particular product, market segment or account. Ask for the relevant broker's documented access conditions.
A provider entry is not a full strategy record
Do not infer a particular strategy's identifier or approval from the provider's vendor code. Keep the provider, broker and named strategy evidence together.
Absence is an unresolved search result
If you cannot match a provider, check spelling, legal name, later exchange notices and the relevant exchange. This page makes no allegation about a company merely because its name is not in these snapshots.
Dated status records used to interpret these lists
NSE grants final status to seven providers
NSE/INVG/76481, circular reference 088/2026, records the move from provisional to final for the seven entities printed in that notice. It is immediately applicable.

BSE notice 20261005-38 records final empanelment for eight listed entities, applicable immediately. It does not date every other row in the current page table.

Check the current source before relying on a saved list
These tables are checked monthly and should also be revisited when the exchanges issue a status notice. The monthly schedule is this page's maintenance plan, not a promise that exchanges change their lists only monthly. A downloaded CSV should keep its check date, because a copy detached from its date can quickly become misleading.
At the next check, compare provider name, exchange, status and source reference, then read any notice that explains a change. Keep an unresolved disagreement visible until the exchange source clarifies it. A page-update date, circular date and our retrieval date have different meanings and should remain separate.
