Spider software price in India versus AmiBroker and TradingView costs

The Spider software price in India, as shown on Spider Software's own IRIS page, is ₹65,000 plus GST, but the page does not say how long that covers, what renewal costs or whether live data is included. AmiBroker sells a licence you keep forever (US$379 or US$399 for Professional, depending on which AmiBroker page you read) and market data is a separate bill; TradingView sells yearly subscriptions from ₹11,940. The table adds up what can be added up for three years and leaves the unknowns open.

What a three-year comparison must include

For Spider software price in India, the visible product quote is only the starting point. A useful budget needs the purchased edition, permitted use, service term, selected market data, renewals and taxes. Without those fields, multiplying a headline amount by a number of years can produce a precise but unsupported result.

We checked the vendors on 14 October 2026. These are software and data costs, not trading charges. No product was purchased and no trial was used to judge performance. Currency amounts remain in their original denominations; no exchange-rate assumption is hidden in an INR total.

For the licensing background, use the market-data delay guide. Software access and the right to receive a particular feed need their own evidence.

Three-year cost components under declared assumptions

Checked 14 October 2026. Subscription projections assume unchanged current prices for three annual renewals; no future price guarantee.

Spider: get the renewal schedule in writing

The product page identifies Spider Software Pvt Ltd and lists IRIS at ₹65,000 plus GST. That confirms the vendor domain and a product quote. It does not settle whether the amount is an annual recurring fee, an initial distribution charge, a bundle or a quote for a particular data scope.

Spider's terms discuss licence renewal and say a lapsed subscriber resuming service may be treated as a new client with fresh initial data-distribution charges. The terms also say you may use the software for the period covered by the subscription fee shown on your invoice, and that payments are not refunded. So the product quote should not be read as a licence you keep forever.

Ask for an itemised first-year and renewal quotation, including product edition, exchanges, segments, historical data and whether upgrades remain included. Preserve the quoted term and tax line. This guide did not obtain a sales quotation, so the three-year total remains unverified.

IRIS and other Spider editions should also be kept distinct. A marketplace listing for another edition or an old brochure cannot fill a missing renewal cell for IRIS. We have not used reseller discounts to replace the official quote.

AmiBroker: perpetual use and maintained software have different bills

AmiBroker's direct-order page says the purchased version can be used indefinitely and includes 24 months of free upgrades, support and maintenance. A third year therefore does not automatically require buying a new licence. An optional upgrade is a separate budget decision after the free-maintenance period.

The upgrade scenario in the table assumes one eligible Professional upgrade at the currently displayed price. It is not a forecast of a future version's price. Retaining the purchased version assumes it continues to meet the user's needs and operating environment; we have not tested future compatibility.

The vendor also says its merchant collects 18% Indian GST. The displayed USD licence amounts in our table are before that tax, currency conversion and payment charges. Confirm the actual checkout because those items change the amount paid. The order page also says that if you choose another currency at checkout, its payment processor, FastSpring, may apply its own exchange rate. That is why this page keeps US dollar and rupee amounts apart instead of showing a made-up rupee total.

AmiQuote is also not a substitute for a verified Indian real-time feed agreement merely because it can download quotes. This comparison budgets an external feed separately instead of assigning free live NSE data to every installation.

A feed allowance that stays visibly conditional

TrueData's homepage says its Velocity desktop-feed plans start at ₹1,699 a month and lists AmiBroker as a supported platform. Its pricing configurator lists Velocity Lite at ₹1,439.83 a month for one segment (such as NSE F&O), with up to 10% off for a one-year term and GST on a separate line. ₹1,439.83 × 1.18 comes to ₹1,699, so the headline may include 18% GST, but TrueData does not say so. The calculation below is an assumed budget at the ₹1,699 headline rate, not a verified quote for a named NSE feed.

TradingView: repeat the annual payment, then add the required data

TradingView's India site lists Essential at ₹995 per month billed annually and Premium at ₹4,195 per month billed annually. The full annual amounts are ₹11,940 and ₹50,340. Three unchanged annual payments produce the subtotals printed in the table.

These are special displayed prices checked on the research date. Repeating them for a budget does not guarantee the renewal price. The site says location-based sales tax may be added, and exchange data can be a separate purchase. Our subtotal does not claim a tax-inclusive final invoice.

The TradingView plan comparison owns the detailed tier discussion. Our GoCharting comparison addresses footprint and CVD requirements. A person needing those features should not use an Essential subtotal as a complete equivalent budget.

Make the cost sheet reviewable before deciding

    • Use one required research task

Specify end-of-day analysis, real-time charting or another concrete requirement. Keep edition and dataset choices aligned with that requirement rather than choosing unlike bundles for a price ranking.

    • Show optional expenses separately

Extra symbols, a VPS, an additional computer, upgrades or an API may be useful, but none is automatically included in every quote. TrueData explicitly says its Velocity plans do not include API access.

    • Preserve gaps instead of zeroes

An unknown renewal, tax or data fee remains unknown. Zero means evidence of no charge, which is a stronger statement than a missing price.

    • Keep the recurring decision visible

The relevant question at renewal is whether the software and data still serve the declared task. A perpetual licence can still have a recurring feed bill, while a subscription can bundle some data.

Use the subtotal as a budget input

This sheet supports a concrete follow-up: obtain Spider's renewal/data quote, resolve AmiBroker's current price at checkout and configure the actual external feed. It does not establish an all-inclusive winner from incomplete inputs.

The broader platforms directory links to task-specific comparisons. Keep software for research, exchange data and any journal used for review as distinct budget items. Only combine them after the term, currency and inclusion boundaries are explicit.
